The Yenisey Siberian Leaders interregional professional competition is open

Today, at the 16th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, the start of the Yenisey Siberia Leaders interregional competition was announced. The competition is organized to find talented managers and qualified specialists, to make up the HR pool for the Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project. Such large-scale investment projects require a large number of qualified specialists in different areas. The CIP is expected to create over 70,000 new jobs.

The competition was organized by the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation in a partnership with the CIP participant companies: Neftegazholding JSC, Kraslesinvest JSC, Rusal UC, and the Siberian Federal University.

The Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation Sergei Ladyzhenko remarked that such a large-scale project will, at the same time, open new opportunities and create new challenges for the HR training and recruitment system. “Our objective is to make up an HR pool, to select the brightest specialists for the Yenisey Siberia projects. The competition participants may get employed and have their professional competences evaluated by experts”, stated Sergei Ladyzhenko.

The competition consists of several stages, including a distance selection, knowledge and skills test, video CV competition, individual and group tasks of the face-to-face stages, case solving competition.  Applications shall be sent from March 28 to May 7 to the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation official website; the results will be drawn on May 30.

The competition is open for people aged from 21 to 50 years old, officially resident in the territory of Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republics of Khakassia and Tuva, holding complete secondary education certificates issued in any of the Yenisey Siberia regions.

The competition participants will have a chance to meet the best specialists and managers of the Yenisey Siberia CIP projects. At the different stages of the event, the participants will get feedback on their skills and abilities, individual recommendations on further training and studies, and individual competence map; after the training they get during the programme, they may be offered employment at the Yenisey Siberia CIP investment organization. As a result of the competition, an HR pool of 1000 managers and high-qualified specialists will be made up.
